Telematics
A telematics device is an instrument that records information about a vehicle's performance, including the speed, idle time, braking force, and distance driven. The role of telematics in Fleet Management is growing and has become the tool for monitoring, tracking and reporting on a fleet's utilization. In order for Fleets to live up to the aspirations of big data, and achieve best-in-class performance, telematics is a central aspect of any comprehensive fleet management program.
